PortalThe Instools Portal allows you to visualize the slice and its measurements. In Flack, select the plugin tab, then click on the "Go To Portal" button.
This will take you to the portal where the slice is mapped out. All nodes are mapped at their actual geographic locations. This may place many nodes at the same location. By default, the nodes are relocated to be visible. To collapse the nodes onto their actual locations, click "Collapse All". To remap the colocated nodes click on the "Expand Nodes" button. Each node is represented with a clickable named icon. In this case the machines are: "r2", "source" and "r1". Measurement controllers are represented by MC along with the controller's name. In this case "MCutahemulab" and "MCukgeni". Hovering over the icons will also show you the node's name and the machines hostname.
Click on the node for "r2". This brings up a control form that shows checkboxes for graphing options, a link to the machines VNC connections and a link to the Live View page that contains all of the node's graphs. The control forms are draggable if they are not fully visible.
Check a checkbox for a graph type and it will be displayed to the left of the map. Mousing over the graph will enlarge it for a better view.
Link traffic graphs can be seen by clicking on a link line to bring up the graph control. In this case "link-2" has been selected. Checking a box by the graph types will open two graphs - one for the machine at each end of the link.
Alternatively, you can use the machine node, "r2" here, to bring up the graph control. Each link from the machine will represented.
Click on an MC node to bring up the MC's control form. The "Main Page" button will take you to the Live View page for the measurement controller.
